Welcome to "The Eye of the Needle", a uniquely informative and transformative training course. One weekend per month over 9 months in Central London.

The essence of healing transcends any medical intervention or specific therapeutic modality. It lies in a return to wholeness. This focus is at the heart of The Eye of the Needle, complemented by self-care techniques rooted in Daoist medicine, acupuncture, and life-nourishing practices

About your Mentor

Dr Hung D Tran has been engaged in supporting people to harness their limitless potential for health, healing and abundance for nearly three decades. His career has spanned the fields of Western medicine, Daoist acupuncture and the healing arts. He has also been a lifelong student and practitioner of meditation in the Mahayana Buddhist tradition.

Several years ago, Hung came across the Three Principles understanding which struck a chord deep inside. The life and work of Sydney Banks deeply resonated with what he had long intuited to be true. He came to realise that well-being is an always and already feature of every human being. However, due to a misunderstanding of how our experiences are created, the presence of well-being can often be clouded. 

  • When we understand the fundamentals of how our mind works, we realise we are not intrinsically broken, and that there is no need to tirelessly "fix" ourselves. Instead, we can tap directly into the source of healing and transformation, catalysing a genuine and enduring change from within.  And when this understanding is integrated with medical or alternative healing modalities and life-nourishing practices, the outcomes can be greatly enhanced. 

    Infusing this understanding with his extensive clinical experience, he founded Sovereign Health, an approach that he finds suitable for addressing complex, multilayered modern-day health concerns. 

    Hung’s vision is to empower everyone to make their own medicine by recognising and actualising their innate health, orientating to wholeness and experiencing the joy of being alive.

This program is a journey of personal transformation and growth. It also aims to equip you with the knowledge, skills, and unwavering confidence to bring about healing and profound change in others. We shall also explore the practical application of acupuncture and Daoist medicine to support this work. You may aspire to become a well-being coach, guiding mentor, or catalyst for positive change. It also sets the foundation for further training in Essential Acupuncture with Dr Tran.
